About TruthLens AI
Video is where most people meet misinformation now. A clip looks real, the captions look official, and by the time you have checked three other sources the damage is done. TruthLens AI exists to close that gap in seconds rather than hours.
What we do
Paste a public YouTube link and TruthLens AI analyses the video for credibility, deepfakes and manipulated footage. You get a trust score, a plain-language verdict, the specific red flags that were found, and a transcript-grounded summary you can cite. Every claim in the summary points back to something in the video itself, rather than to a guess about what it probably meant.
Our principles
Direct answers
No hedging, no filler. A verdict you can act on, with the reasoning attached.
Citable, not vibes
Findings are grounded in the transcript and the video's own metadata, so you can check them.
Limits stated plainly
Automated analysis is not infallible. We publish what it can and cannot do on our Disclaimer page.
Independent
No sponsored verdicts. We do not take payment to raise or lower a score.
Who it is for
- Journalists and fact-checkers verifying a clip before it runs.
- Teachers and educators checking classroom material.
- Anyone who has been forwarded a video and wants to know if it is real.
- Teams that need a documented, repeatable screening step.
How we make money
TruthLens AI is free to use. We are funded by advertising, which is why the site may show ads. Advertising never influences a score, a verdict, or the order in which red flags are presented. If a page shows an ad, that placement is not an endorsement of anything on the page.
